Kai-Yaneeke Tapper is an adjunct tutor at the University of the West Indies, Mona in the courses of Entertainment, Media & Culture and Producing Culture: Events & Festivals. She completed a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Entertainment and Cultural Enterprise Management, and a Music minor in 2016. She is currently a Masters of Philosophy candidate in Cultural Studies. Her areas of research include the investigation of musical genres regionally, relative to contemporary socio-cultural and political realities while comparing the performance geographies of Millennials, Generation Z and first-generation Reggae Icons.
